This sparkling comedy, written by Terence Rattigan towards the end of the war was full of the author's idealistic sense that post-war Britain should be conducted on fairer lines than in the class-ridden Thirties, and with "Fair Shares for all". These generous intentions were somehow transformed by the original Director and Star, Alfred Lunt, into a romantic comedy for himself and his wife Lynn Fontaine. So the author's original script has never been performed............until now.

Less Than KindDirector Adrian Brown received an Emmy Award for the TV version of "The Belle of Amhurst" with Claire Bloom. He has directed for TV and theatre (Recent productions: "Wild Oats", "The School for Wives", "The Spanish Tragedy ").
